mucal

Mucal is a subroutine that calculates x-ray cross-sections using mcmaste
data in may 1969 edition. It also supplies edge energies, fluorescence
yields, atomic weights and densities for various materials.
It is written in fortran.

In the latest revision (date: 3/15/95) a calculation bug was fixed.
This used to give eroneous result for calculations for l2 and l3
edges only.


The latest version is in the file mucal.f.tar.Z along with:

mat.f    -- a front end for mucal
ee.f     -- a front end for mucal
upcase.f -- a subroutine mucal needed by both mucal and mat
mucal.1  -- manpage for mucal
mucal.help -- help page for mucal for non unix systems

To extract these files, use 'compress -d mucal.f.tar.Z; tar xf mucal.f.tar'
or 'zcat mucal.f.tar.Z | tar xf - & .
