Welcome to the IXAS XAFS database!

The site is hosted by the Center for Synchrotron Radiation Research and Instrumentation at Illinois Institute of Technology.

The directory tree "RAW" contains as-collected data in the native format where the data was obtained (e.g. SSRL, CHESS, different NSLS lines, etc.) We have made (a sometimes unsuccessful) attempt to extract the documentation and sort this data according to the edge element. A "periodic table" interface is also available.

The directory tree " PROCESSED" contains data that is reduced to a standard file type (of which we do not know the format). Note that there is no description of the data in these files, only a reference to the original "raw" data file name.
